Trinity Drama Group was founded in 1927 and started performing plays and shows in the 1928 as Queen Street Methodist Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society, but in 1975 the last production there "When we are Married" was performed and the church and society moved to Trinity and the shows continued. The drama group changed over the years to the present set up where pantomimes were started to be performed in 2002.

We have some of the 1960's cast members still involved, either appearing in productions or working on the commitee that over see the running of the group.

We are based within the Trinity Church on Market Street in Farnworth and we are one of only a few companies who have their own hall set out in a theatre style setting complete with a sound and lights desk at the back of the hall and because of this other companies use the hall to produce their own productions.

We usually rehearse on a Friday night but as we get closer to our productions then we rehearse most nights of the week and Sunday afternoons.
